This function will start the Merge dialog for the selected albums in the
collection editor. You can use this function when the AlbumPlayer added two
seperate albums in case of a double CD. Note that the AlbumPlayer can
automatically merge when adding new albums and directories are properly
organised. This means that each CD should be in a separate subdirectory of
the album and named as CD1, CD2 etc. See also Scan Disk For New Track
Files. The Merge dialog contains the following fields: Select which album will be the target to merge
into Here you can select from the list the album that should be the target album.
So for instance when you have two albums one called "Pink Floyd - The Wall
(CD1)" and the other "Pink Floyd - The Wall (CD2)" then select "Pink Floyd - The
Wall (CD1)" as the target album to be merged into. Adjust album artist and title if
desired Here you specify the new name of the album after merging. So in case of the
example here above the new name should be "Pink Floyd - The Wall". Artist Title Merge albums as separate CD's instead of one
track list Set this option when you want to keep seperate CD's in the target album
instead of creating one single track list. Separate CD's are visible
in the album info track
list and in the playlist. In
the album editor the CD's
can also still be handled as separate track lists.
