Hi, this file will explain briefly what you can do when it comes to creating a screensaver for the AlbumPlayer. Background ------------------------- The backgound image has to be a *.JPG with a resolution of 1000x750 pixels. When a user uses a higher desktop resolution, then the very left vertikal line of pixels of your background image will be streched to the left hand side. Same thing happens for the right hand side (very right vertikal line of pixels will be streched), for the top (very top horizontal line) and the bottom (very bottom line of hor. pixels). The background image should show the "no-cover-found" situation and also include the overlay you might create for the cover. Information ------------------------- You can show optional information about the currently playing track: Song title Artist name Album title Track number in playlist Time progress Time left You can also show song rating. Rating consists of five stars or dots or whatever you come up with. You have to deliver a *.JPG for rating_on (e.g. a yellow star) and one for rating_off (e.g. a gray star). The font you use has to be "Tahoma". You can freely choose attributs like colors, size, characteristics (bold, etc.) and alignment. Cover ------------------------- The min. size of the currently playing cover is 256x256 px. Max. size is 384x384 px. You can design an alphatransparent overlay for the cover, which has to be saved as *.PNG. The overlay has to have the same size as your cover area. Title ------------------------- Please choose a name for you screensaver like "CD Case" or whatever. Preview thumbnail ------------------------- Please also deliver a preview pic of your saver for the Windows screensaver settings panel. The size has to be 155x116 pixels.
